Once K was old enough to pick out a book to read, the book of choice was Tikki Tikki Tembo by Arlene Mosel. Now I know how my mother felt! It didn't take too much of that to make us head to the library. Our library has a list of 30 titles every child should know. We own quite a few of them (listed in bold).

I'll add- Big Words for Little People a new book by Jamie Lee Curtis. And the Junie B. Jones series- Shaye is well into this collection and loving it. And if you are a Laura Numeroff fan, I'm sure you'll be picking up If You Give a Cat a Cupcake- her newest!
